Personality: A friendly--albeit sarcastic--girl, Astrid is more than happy to talk to people, but they'd do best to keep in mind that half of what comes out of her mouth is less than truthful. She's relatively easy-going, prone to tease people, and more likely to laugh off an insult than take serious offense unless it is obviously malicious and directed towards her or one of her team members. If it comes down to it, she'll hold her ground and fight--and likely do quite well.
History: Astrid grew up just outside of Castelia City along Route 4 with her mother and older sister, though the family spent more time in the small dance studio they ran than they did at home. Both daughters danced competitively, but Astrid was constantly overshadowed by her older sister, who seemed to excel at everything she touched. When Astrid was nearly 11, their mother became sick and died within the year, leaving her in custody of her older sister. Her relationship with her sister was already strained, and only grew moreso as Astrid struggled with her mother's death. She quit dancing, and decided to take up pokemon training instead, starting with the family dog.

Astrid was out the door the morning of her 18th birthday and never looked back. She found an apartment in Castelia City that was cramped at best, but he rented the place from the owner by working in the laundromat below. When she overheard talk about Oneirus Laboratories while moping up the mess from an overflowing washer, she had her bags packed before her shift had even ended.

Personality: Kala is aloof, preferring to keep her distance from strangers and avoid large crowds as often as possible. She is easily irritated and will not hesitate to snap at anyone who comes to close without a proper introduction. Despite her general dislike of people, she is strongly protective of Astrid and treats her like her own pup.
History: Kala had been skulking on the edge of the city, eating out of dumpsters after being abandoned by her original trainer when Astrid found her her first night away from home. The two became unlikely friends after the girl offered the Jolteon something fresh to eat.

Nature: Timid
Moveset: Psychic - Shadow Ball - Torment - Protect
Personality: Extremely skittish. Zoti is a baby, even as far as Abras go, and has very little control over his abilities. Do not surprise him--you might not like the result.
History: Found in the dreamworld as a result of R3. Further details would contain spoilers.

Nature: Hasty
Moveset: Crunch - Flamethrower - Smog - Howl
Personality: Very, very friendly. The type of friendly that'll wait for you at the door, knock you over, and slobber all over your face to let you know just how happy he is to see you. He's not the brightest when thinking for himself, and will often go off in search of attention or food only to get himself into trouble instead. But you wouldn't be able to stay mad at the goof for long--he probably meant well anyway.
History: Tex was the family's dog before Astrid took it upon herself to train him properly. He put in his best effort for his favorite family member, but is currently only a mediocre battler at best. But despite this, Astrid couldn't bear to leave him behind when she left home. He'd probably have followed her into the city on his own anyway.
